Utterly penniless

Have more work booked in February than I have in Jan! Found myself having Monday to Thursday off this week...ah well at least I got to see my accountant to get all my tax sorted. I use Abdul @ Shipleys Accountants and he's been a legend with saving me a ton of tax. I've gone the limited company route and I'm shocked at how much saving I'm going to make as well as the improved cash flow from not having to pay tax upfront twice a year. I was getting really excited about investing about £9,000 in some shares but I've had to give it all to my dad tonight...I owed him coz he payed my mortgage for me when I was just starting out and I conveniently forgot about it. Looks like I'm going to have to do some solid shifts over the coming months if I'm going to afford that diamond! A small chain pharmacy has asked if I would do a six month locum stint for them and fingers crossed I get it as I'll be able to work close to home and no more getting up so early and getting home late. God I've just remembered that time I did an 8am-11pm shift at a healthcentre pharmacy but set off the surgery alarm by trying to use the toilet in the surgery walkthrough when there was just 10 mins left. Never been so gutted in my life! Had to get the alarm people out to reset it and didnt get home till 2am. The longest day ever!!
